I'll take a hard working competitive Indiana kid who can shoot and score any day. Sounds like a great kid to represent Umass. If he can shoot the three w/ consistency that will open up the inside and create room for Artie B to score. I am becoming more optimistic. Go ZooMass!
Gabe needs to add some weight to his frame. That is without question. With Lee on the floor with as the lone big man did not help matters either. Rogers was never a rebounding force in his two years and brand as we all know underachieved on the boards this hurt Lee's numbers on the boards. Playing T...
I agree rebounding is as much heart, and instincts as it is height. From what I hear Freeman, and Briggs may only be 6'9'' but they are aggressive and want the ball. These kids need to start playing with some desire and once they do and start outrebounding, hustling, and out-defending their opponent...
Does Temple have an alum that is an assistant or head coach at another program whom they consider to be a front runner. I know Bru is a philly guy, but you would think they want someone within the family. Does anyone know of any Temple alum who are getting it done on the bench?
Maurice Maxwell is listed as signed with Umass on fansonly.com. He is only listed as a prospect. No other info on schools that looked at him or how high a prospect he is. I am not sure if I should be happy or not with the signing, hopefully he can contribute.

I agree those players caused further emabarassment to the university by quiting the rest of the season. I have no idea what kind of penalty can be placed on those players, but something should be done.

Some decent teams. I am a big fan of playing regional teams in other conferences. It looks we have a good mix of tough non conf. teams and weaker non-conference teams. With a roster still up in the air we need all the help we can get.[/img]
I agree with the comments made so far. If we cannot sign a player who can compete next year, or has a legitimate upside than we should hold off on signing people for the sake of signing them. The majority of impact players are already signed. I think our only hope of turning the sinking ship around ...
You definately fooled me. Regardless, I am glad this is up and running again. If I had to endure another minute of the masslive site I was going to kill myself. Thank's Hommie
