carrier, I don't want to get into a pissing match, but like I said in my post there is a big difference between crashing the boards and following your shot. If you read Senior Citizens post he says take a few steps toward the basket not crash the boards. In the plays that Gurley should have followed...

Re: iupui

One area of improvement, excluding Gaffney and Harris, going after loose balls. Gurley seemed flatfooted on long rebounds waiting for the ball to come to him. Invariably, a player from IUPUI would cut in front and grab the ball. While I'm at it, he should also move towards the boards after his thre...

Just a few notes from the day. First off I didn't get there early enough to see Maxie Esho but he was in the gym. Freddie Riley shot alot but did get hot in the second half, not sure how many he had but I would guess 18+ . He made 4 or 5 threes as well as some nice pullup jumpers from 5 to 10 ft.wit...

I have been keeping an eye on this web site since Jan. http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/?m=200703 There are a number of Kentucky fans who have seen him play alot this season and are very high on him. Most of them believe he could be an immediate role player but not a star because he is undersized...

You are already right Xlgman , Kentucky already has a verbal for 08 at his position. Kentucky already has a verbal commitment from a junior rated in the top 50, 6-7 forward Draymond Green (Saginaw, Mich.). Green averaged over 25 PPG this season and is an athletically-gifted wing forward. He can scor...

Could get interesting if Kentucky lands the recruits the really want. This kid wants to be a WildCat but they have there goal set on higher rated recruits. I think the A 10 is a perfect fit for this kid. This quote from Kentucky Sports Radio. 4) Finally, a little mini-update on Stephon Pettigrew. I ...

There is a lot more UMASS talk going on at this site http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/?p=1487. T Ford just offered Pettigrew a scholorship. It sounds like he will go to Kentucky if they offer but they are interested in higher rated players first. The kid sounds like he would be able to contribute...

Here is a web site that has a lot of info on Pettigrew, he is the front runner for Mr. Basketball in Kentucky. http://blog.kentuckysportsradio.com/?m=200701. It sounds as though he wants to go to Kentucky but they are not that interested. The sports radio folks think that Kentucky should be offering...

After reading this article a couple of things come to mind. If a player goes to a school who plays D-1 basketball and 1AA ( or what ever they call it now) football and plays both what sport would his scholorship count toward? Obviously I have never seen this kid play but I would love to see us recru...

I agree with you Ktabz16 about Coach K. My Dad knows Pete Gaudet from when he was coaching at Dartmouth HS. Not only did he let Pete take the fall for the season but on national tv he told a reporter that if he coached they would have won at least 8-10 more games. That is when my hatred of Duke grew...

On Boston Globe High School blog someone list Chris Donald with a liist of Dayton, Depaul , UMASS, and others. Im sure its just a high school kid posting it but there might be some truth to it.
