Re: Derek Kellogg - LIU Brooklyn

Okay...now that we’ve established that WMass is comprised of the four westernmost counties in the Commonwealth, let’s say that there have been four D1 coaches from WMass, Duquette, Martin, Kellogg and one yet to be identified coach. Name the fourth coach and win pizza from TheOFFSeason! 8) Ru...

We are probably at the highest we have ever been since moving up @ 68.

If next year starts like this year is ending we will bowl and have national recognition for sure.
National recognition? Like what?

Re: Derek Kellogg - LIU Brooklyn

The Berkshires have always been considered as part of Western Mass. What other possibility exists? My freshman year roommate was from Pittsfield. He said there were more New York sports fans than Boston fans, so maybe an honorary or de facto part of upstate New York? FWIW I'm from the Springfield a...

Having an annual game with Army would be great. I attended a UMASS/Army game at West Point and the atmosphere was great!!! The artillery and bagpipes really were phenomenal.
The march on and "the rocket" chant are probably one of the best pregame traditions in college football.

Several million dollars? Re: The Militia Joins UMassHoops.Com

Students are back....your time to shine dudes! I'm hoping for a big turnout for the hockey game against UCONN this weekend. I know there's several term projects due in my classes next week and finals/reading days over the following two weeks or so. Should be interesting to see how the turnout is fo...

Re: State of the Progam

Here is hoping that in a year or two the AAC realizes their mistake and adds UMass along with maybe BYU for Fball only. Or get Army/Navy to move their annual game to week 13 of the schedule and add Army. I would stay independent over joining the MAC, SB, or CUSA. I really really hope the AAC adds M...

Re: 2017 Season

https://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/rankings/cbs/130 Up 15 to 105. Not a pinnacle yet definite improvement. Glad to note the trajectory. FIU is 75. That's a solid team. Everyone uses their own ranking system, I know, but I wouldn't put too much weight into the CBS 130 poll. Polls are notoriou...

Re: Something wrong here.

Can you image what a university (especially UMASS) could do with $520M in terms of scholarships, endowed professorships, upgrading facilities etc. I'm sure they could do a whole lot! I think they built the life sciences complex for somewhere around $250M, and that facility houses several large lect...

Re: State of the Progam

BC doesn't make a dent in the Boston television market so why should UMass be any different? Maybe because we have 4 times the alumni in the Greater Boston area? We have already been down this path - why do you all keep making this so fucking hard? Every single goddamn Umass alum alive could live w...

It is -1.5 to -10. For all of you that don't believe it go to this site, scroll down a bit and check for yourself.

http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-foo ... las-vegas/
That site says the spreads are FIU -1.5, -1.5, -1.5, -2, -1.5, -1.5, -2, -1.5, -1.5.

Opening line favors them anywhere from 1.5 to 10 depending on what place you look. With a decent game we should be able to take them.
The spread varies from -1.5 to -10? No way that's possible.
Maybe meant to say -1.5 to -1.0? idk

Re: FBS Playoff

As for Frost, I would jump at a P5 job in a heartbeat if I were him. Unless the program is in utter disarray, then maybe stay away from Nebraska, but, he is from Nebraska, went to Nebraska. If they come calling, I think he takes it. He's already getting paid more than a few P5 head coaches and UCF ...

Re: Derek Kellogg - LIU Brooklyn

That LUI defense is allowing a ton of points this year. Def a rebuilding year for them. I am sure he is having difficulty getting the players to play harder and play LIU Basketball.    I hope the administration is patient - it takes DK about 9 years to rebuild..... C'mon now....
