So much for a committed staff. 1 year and out?

I'd have to imagine the money is much better.
To be a position coach instead of DC? Maybe this is connected to the ineptitude of our defense as well.....

Sean East is fantastic, but he can be too loose with the ball.

Kolton Mitchell seems to steady the pg position. He looks like a tough, strong, smart player. Speaking of, I miss John Buggs.
Mitchell reminds me of DK as a point guard. More athletic though.

Re: Game 14. 2019-2020 SLU 1/5/20

When Djery was in the game, I can’t believe Hasahn got that layup off so easily. Should have been an instant foul. Big mistake there! This was a huge error by Djery. He entered with the single purpose of fouling French if he got the ball, but instead he went with the the cutter and gave French an u...

Re: Game 14. 2019-2020 SLU 1/5/20

They just didn’t execute and that is age related. East slipped when French got on him, Diallo made a great cut to have a fast ball thrown behind him and they got three wide open looks from shooters to try to tie the game.

Re: State of the Progam

I have zero doubt that we are finally on the right path. a 32K seat stadium will one day be sold out.. How many here will still be breathing to see that? An upper deck to the home side and closing in an end zone would get us there. My guess, if things go as planned, additional seats by 2025. Not th...

Re: Isabella!!!

In preseason he was targeted and did not catch it. Reports from Arizona were circulating about this in the preseason. You said early on, but I appreciate you being specific this time. Either way, they buried the kid for little to no reason. That's a big reason why they went 5-10-1. Yes. He was buri...

Re: 2019-20 season

I think roster stability is the name of the game for the next 3+ years. Turnover has been a big problem at UMass and across the NCAA. We know all the freshmen aren't going to make it to senior year, but if the "big 3" (TJ, Tre, Sean East) stay here for 4 years I think we are going to be happy campe...

Re: Isabella!!!

He had a lot of trouble catching the ball this year early on. Yes, but he has to catch the ball. He seemed to have trouble adjusting to the speed/strength of throws. He will put in the work and figure out how to do it. He did it before when he converted from RB to WR at UMass. He was only targeted ...

One problem with most of the bowl games is that it costs the schools to actually play in them.
Yes. The school has to buy a certain amount of tickets. Hopefully if we make a bowl we will travel and not have the school have to pay.

Re: State of the Progam

Happy New Year!.. in 2020 what I believe we will see is a vast improvement on the field (assuming somebody steps up to be a decent QB). Now, since we were so bad in 2019 I don't think it will translate into more than 2 or 3 wins, but maybe a few more close games as well. I also see an even better r...

He’s the type of guy that is built for a McDaniels offense though. A lot of vertical seam routes like Amendola used to do. Yes, but he has to catch the ball. Re: Game 13, 2019-20: at Akron (12/30)

The biggest thing for me was that in a tight game they were down a basket or two for the final 5+ minutes they did not press ONCE (not including desperation mode in the last 20 seconds or so). After every made basket they got back on D and manned up. If you (McCall) thought the press was a weapon y...

Re: State of the Progam

Thanks OC for posting this article. I certainly thought it was very relatable to us - esp the paragraph about UConn football. idk, but don't think we will be invited to the Big East anytime soon or build a new stadium over 30 miles from campus. UConn football is the road map for us to NOT follow. T...
