He would have caught 50 balls easy with the pats current receiving corps.
He had a lot of trouble catching the ball this year early on.

Re: Game 13, 2019-20: at Akron (12/30)

The biggest thing for me was that in a tight game they were down a basket or two for the final 5+ minutes they did not press ONCE (not including desperation mode in the last 20 seconds or so). After every made basket they got back on D and manned up. If you (McCall) thought the press was a weapon y...

Re: State of the Progam

Thanks OC for posting this article. I certainly thought it was very relatable to us - esp the paragraph about UConn football. idk, but don't think we will be invited to the Big East anytime soon or build a new stadium over 30 miles from campus. UConn football is the road map for us to NOT follow. T...

Yeah, maybe. Def his choice but why after first semester?
As mom pointed out he was young. Maybe homesick? Other family issues? IDK. Wish him well.

Odd that in that twitter post she mentions it being a process because they're young. Apparently Sy was unhappy with the process here and decided to move on. When you're young, patience is key. Hope he finds what he wants
Maybe he wants to be closer to home?

If he can read a defense and do a simple progression from receiver to receiver that would be a huge upgrade.
He needs to be instructed to do that by the coaches. It didn’t seem like Brito was tasked with any decision making. He was told to throw to one spot.

Re: 2020 Season

^^^ I hope he surprises everyone and becomes a solid starting QB, but let’s remember all his other offers were D2...not even FCS, and he’s rated a 2 star by 24/7. Well, we know Bell doesn’t seem to like throwing the ball downfield, so as long as he can make throws to the sideline and 7 yard hook/co...

Re: 2020 Season

^ I hear ya, but man, hearing trying to reduce the scoring defense to 40/game still puts a ton of pressure on the offense to win games. How many teams in FBS give up 40+ on average? I would think we would need to be around 28-30/game to even be a .500 team. Most people don't care that we lose by fe...

Re: 2020 Season

I’m going full maroon glasses here. We hare signing virtually all three star guys in positions in high need. These guys not only have the stars, they have FBS size. They are replacing some veterans who have chose to leave instead of compete with the new guys. Playing time for young guys will play hu...

Re: 2019-20 season

Pierre is within 4 or 5 games of 1,000 points. The career points on this team show how utterly inexperienced they are. Second is Clergeot with 312 and third is Mitchell with 170. TM has played 12 games and he's third on the team in career points. This actually makes me feel really good about this t...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

When you sign two other QBs in the class, he may not be the priority we thought. I hope he is given a fair shake, especially if he fulfills his part in the Blue Shirt scenario. Bell is right to not sign three QBS. We need depth on D and in the lines.

Re: 2020 Recruiting

The blueshirt rule allows schools to put "unrecruited" athletes on scholarship once they arrive on campus, but count them against the next year's scholarship total, as long as they don't play. You can play as a blue shirt right away. You could take a blue shirt and then redshirt, but that is not re...

Re: State of the Progam

Wow - seems like the 'close' rate for even FCS type talent is headed downward. JUCO's the only answer? Does a JUCO who enters for this second semester count against our recruiting class limit? Depends when they enter. Early sometimes count towards previous year. There is a cap of five I believe for...
