Re: 2019-20 season

^ JMO but I don't see a way the University of Massachusetts is playing a one-off road game at a MAAC school. There is only a minuscule chance because Wheeler just came from there, but even then you are significantly more likely to do at least a H+H than a one-off road game at a low major. I would im...

Re: UConn to Big East 2020

UConn is going to leave the AAC and join the BE as soon as they can. They are making this move for their hoop programs and Olympic sports and not because of football, so they aren't going to hang out in the AAC for two extra years so football can be better served. UMass faced a very similar situati...

^ I don't know enough about those things work to know.

Does the AAC play hockey of lacrosse?
No to hockey and men's lacrosse, but they do sponsor women's lacrosse

I'm sure TheOFFSeason knows what's going on... maybe he'll chime in?
His name is Gianni Thompson, he's a 2021 wing, and the profile name on his Twitter is 'Michael Scott', not his real name

^Not for Friday. You get two games. UMass vs Harvard and Clarkson vs Notre Dame. Saturday you only get one game.
Yes of course, one ticket to both games on Friday. I read it as both UMass games, my mistake

Am I reading the ticket site correctly? The cheapest tickets available are $45 for the game on Friday.

Well, you get two games for that price.
That's per game.

If you buy both days in advance, it's $40/per.

NCAA cutting a real break there.

Re: 2019 Recruiting

Tony Bergeron is a Springfield native who has made his bones coaching the New England prep ranks for years now, and everywhere he's gone (including Woodstock this year) the teams have performed well with high-level recruits on board. Some might say he's overdue for a chance at the collegiate level. ...

Re: State of the program

Some peak over-analyzing on this one. There are few things college coaches dislike more than armchair scouts trying to tell them that their neighbor's brother-in-law's cousin's kid is some undiscovered gem, whether you're a booster or not. Now while he was obviously scouting/recruiting if he was at ...

Re: future scheduling talk

Looking deeper into the season ticket info, there are five games scheduled for McGuirk, based on the luxury suite costing 12, 500 or 2, 500 per game. So, it looks like UConn will be at Gillette. My guess is a second pay date or mailer will allow Putnam club tickets. Maybe commonwealth club members ...

Re: future scheduling talk

$20/game for all six games ($120/ticket) actually means that it's very likely all the games are in Amherst. There was no section to select a bump to the Putnam Club, which there would have to be if there was a game in Foxborough. It is not confirmed via an official release from the school, but I've ...

Re: future scheduling talk

So I was just looking at the 2019 schedule (so I could mark up my new 2019 calendar!) and the UConn and BYU games have TBD under location. Is there a possibility that one or both could be played in Amherst?? It was reported after BYU beat UMass this year that 2019's game was moving to McGuirk. The ...

Re: 2018-2019 Season

Not out of the ordinary for such a hire. Darrice Griffin was the Senior Woman Administrator at the time, so it only makes sense that she be heavily involved with hiring the women's basketball coach.
