Re: 2018-2019 Season

I spoke briefly to a relative of Makar's at one of the UVM playoff games who indicated that Cale was weighing his options, but loves playing on this team and is looking at his long-term development. That's not a guarantee he'll stay, but he won't "bolt" solely for the money. Seems he has set his sig...

Thanks to Coach McCall, his staff, and the players for a most entertaining season.
Yes!! Reminded me a lot of Cal's first year in that the style of play and hustle were dramatically better than the previous year and the team was way more entertaining than the record indicates.

I just watched the post-game press conference. For a freshman, Pierre is extremely poised and articulate.

just got back from the game...great win! as far as the crowd goes, a little disappointed in the showing. Attendance was not announced but if there was just shy of 6K at Friday's game, I'd be surprised if there was 4K there today.
Yeah, crowd wasn't huge, but it was an enthusiastic crowd.

Forget Whipple hiring Liam as our OC, I think that Liam will be Whipple’s replacement as our next coach. Learning under Sean McVay will be huge.
Pretty sure this puts us in Liam's rear view mirror.
Yes, because a coach with NFL experience would never coach at UMass.

Re: 2018 Hockey East Playoffs

I already bought my tickets, but some great seats have become available for the UVM games as some season ticket holders have chosen not to purchase their seats.

Re: 2017-2018 Season

Luckily, my children have neither hockey practices Friday night nor early games Saturday, so I just bought tickets. It'll be my first chance to see the team live this season!

Its not an excuse.. we can barley field a team. So when a couple guys arent shooting well you have NO ONE ELSE to go to.
Doesn’t explain losing by 20 at home to team that is 3-9 in the league.
Actually, I think it explains it quite well.

regarding WBB I've come off cloud 9 and am currently on cloud 5.
I hope I'm not the only who hasn't forgotten that both basketball teams are in the process of rebuilding. Both are still short on players, especially ones with talent and experience.

Whether or not he ever plays for us again I hope he takes advantage of the academic support he is given and is able to get his degree.

Re: Game 22 +23 (2017-18): Northeastern

Color man is former UMass great and Austrian Thomas Pock. For those that never saw Pock play, think Makar or Ferraro. He played D in the early 2000's and had the hardest shot from the point of any UMass player I have ever seen. If I remember correctly, Cahoon moved him from forward to defense his s...
