It's getting impossible to imagine how the program can be successful with the current coaching staff. The fundamentals are lacking (where in heck is the boxing out?) and the attitude lacks determination and toughness. Those are areas where the coaches ARE accountable. How hard can it be to play toug...

What is the policy with students getting into the games? It was great when it was first come first in in the early 70's-show your ID at the door. Do students have to pick up tickets in advance of the game? If so, this is a very bad idea. Anyone know? If we're going to get students to the games we ha...

Wow! What a writeup. Great article-couldn't have been written by our own publicity staff if they existed. This should be reprinted in the Globe. Can someone email this to the Globe sports editor? I'm computorly challenged among my other challenges.

If we play tough defense and rebound we'll be ok. How can we or Coach get the message across? AA if you or the other guys are reading, take it upon yourselves to take great pride in the D and the rebounding. That's the ticket. Oh, and a few less threes would be damn smart also.

Now I understand all those folks from Villanova. Fire his ass unless the team finishes above 500. Enough is enough. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit especially if the chef is dumber than a sack of rocks.

Just walked in from hoop practice-Are you freaking kidding me??????? No way we lost to CCSU for the second year. Lappas is a complete stiff. I'm sorry but the guy is the best example of the Peter Priciple-he working at his level of incompetence. Fire his butt and let's get on with getting back we ca...

How do I get a message to Lappas? I want to ask what's going on with the rebounding? Come on-there's no freakin way this team will win consistently until they rebound consistently and shut down the other teams off. rebounds. Also what's being done to work on the disgusting free throw situation? What...

Saw the game last night UVM vs UCLA. Vermont was robbed-they outplayed UCLA in every aspect but they didn't get a call for the last 10 minutes. If UMass doesn't come out and play aggressively they'll get beat by 20. Let's hope they're learning from their many early mistakes. They will definitely hav...

Does this compare to the Lowell loss about ten years ago? We'll see. That coach responded and we'll see how well this one adjusts. It is really hard to imagine a consistently winning program with this motion offense. I don't think it works with kids-make it simple. Give me the ball control, low post...

Experience is not as important as effort when it comes to defense and rebounding. This team did NOT put out the needed defensive effort to at least stay in the game. The problem is that the coach tolerates this. Some don't tolerate lack of effort and they're winners. Remember Calipari in the player ...

Just more of the same. I just don't understand how the guys can defend and rebound so poorly. How can Coach LET it happen. We will never beat a good opponent on the basis of the motion offense or any other offense. Defense and rebounding-especially denying offensive rebounds are the first keys. I ju...

Chimelis was a big bandwagon guy when the team was making a national name under Calipari. Now he is incredibly focused on the negative which I think is the result of two factors. One is that he misses covering big games because now his insignificance is readily apparent to us and especially to him. ...

It's really about time-especially for the alums and other older fans. Of course I'll always miss drinking my six pack of Bud while freezing and waiting in line to get into the Cage when the doors opened. Yes, younger fans, there were pre-Calipari days when a student had to be in line an hour or two ...

Yea VoxPop-I agree!!!!!!!! Let's keep the energy positive and see what happens. The changes are unpredictable and I agree with Ian. Let's let Meeks at al organize with our support and let the thing evolve. Ronnie gets the answers that he deserves. It would be crazy to rule out anything at this time-...
