As Bob Lobel would say, "Why can't we get players like this"?

If they do not beat the Red Hawks, you can bet that there will immediately be a big issue.

Lets wait and see how they do against all of the cupcakes coming up on the schedule. However, I will not get excited until the A10 games get here or if they beat BC or UConn or Tennessee -- just one of them. Everyone else on the schedule should be a win prior to the A10 games beginning. Ideally thes...

Picking up on the topic heading, this team has a chance to be a good team, but in my humble opinion it will really struggle to get to that point as long as Steve Lappas is the coach. The next 7 games leading up to UConn will tell me a lot. A well-coached team should win a minimum of 5 of the next 7....

Yikes. It will take him a while to get his shooting percentage back up.

...As far as the world ending, I do not think it is close. However, after the exhibition season and the game against St. Francis, you would think this team had already qualified for the NIT or even better. I still think this team will be playing in the NIT in March. This is a group of good players ...

I don't think I have ever seen a UMass team lose by 40 points. That was brutal, ugly, awful and just one more black mark on the conference. You don't have to set the way-back machine very far, we got smacked by Temple by 42 just last season. Jesus, some of you people sound like the freakin' world e...

Because of the way I feel about the outcome of this game, I currently am unable to say anything in this post.

Kind of odd since they drew 1,912 for the game against Playaz.
Whoa. Too bad. That has top be the smallest crowd ever at the Bill for a regular season game. Wish I lived close to UMass, as I would attend most if not all of the games.

Do not forget, AA had 21 points

Also, FT shooting not that great -- 20-29.
I believe UM shot 29 free throws to St. F's 4!
Lee 8 points, 11 boards and 7 blocks!
54 percent from the floor
49-30 we win the boards

i may be crazy, but to me, the best in three of the 4 pro sports have come from beantown bird, orr, williams, and then, from out of town, montana waiting to be slammed  I would take Russell over bird in a heartbeat. I also would argue that the big "O" was a better player than Bird. I also woul...

Just curious. Based on Ronnie C's article, we won't be getting much time from Kouyate for the entire season. So, where does that leave us on the front line -- Lee, Freeman, Lasme and Viggs? If that is correct, it looks like we will be seeing tons of 3-guard stuff this year -- whiich could be real go...

Any names of who was on the Playaz? Were they decent? It appears there was little or no D played in the game, so was there lots of running by the Minutemen? THanks
