Guys coming in look to be pretty good players, and I agree that everyone should try to forget about what already happened and look with a little more optimism to the future. The team needs to feel their fans are behind them no matter what, and this can only help the team attitude. Sounds like Freema...

I'd take Delonte West in a heartbeat. The kid plays under control, is aggressive, and plays with good confidence. Just goes to show that player rankings don't always give a true indication of a guy's talent. Heart and passion is often overlooked. Jury still out on Brennan, don't know if I like his g...

UMass96, I appreciate your rethinking your previous comments, and agree that the other board tends to get bogged down in personal insults that seem to have nothing to do with hoop, and sidetracks any good discussion. I am in favor of giving Lappas support for next season even though I agree that the...

Wow, never thought of that choice. I would love to see a guy like Ty Weeks come back. Think it's a great idea to give an alum a crack at a job like that, but it may be too soon for a job like this. I would think that he could use a little more seasoning. However, we have Lappas for now & we need to ...

I wouldn't say everyone on the other board is a "mindless idiot", there are occasionally some good points and discussions.

I agree with the rhino, too late to do anything now, & next year will be the perfect opportunity for Lap to do his thing with his guys. If it doesn't work out next year, the writing is on the wall and we should make a change early and with a real search. If Lap comes through, he deserves another yea...

Good points, but next year has to be an improvement or I think a change has to be made. By improvement I mean increased intensity, consistency, and some sort of direction with leadership. This program seems to be in limbo with no direction or leadership. Would love to see it turn around and am still...

You would think that the school and quality of education would also play a role in deciding to go to a school, but I guess it doesn't factor in as much as you would think. That article makes it sound like everyone gets screwed if they transfer, but for some kids, a change might be good and sitting o...

I agree, too much chaos is not a good thing when you are trying to sign players. Have to think that this could happen if next year is a down year, but after two years seems too quick. Also if it were true, I would think they would go after a proven winner, as this program is supposed to be the money...

I agree with the Preacher. We could use some more size inside, if anyone goes down to foul trouble or injury we will be a little thin up front. Seems we have a lot of small forward/big guard types. A solid backup at point will also be key. One more big guy, & one more point we should be trying for.

:?: Anyone know what Lasme's plans are? I would hope they would welcome him back should he choose to do so. He may be reaching a bit with the talk of the NBA, but the kid is talented, and maybe with what's going on at home, the injuries, and the poor season the team had, he thought he needed a chang...
