See harbo's first post in the "Good Enough" thread. (I don't however see the two in the same light, and their styles are very different)

Winning this game would go a LONG way towards securing third. It's a big game against a solid foe. That hasn't been a good combination for UMass in the recent past. But this team does tend to deliver their best performances in games in which conventional wisdom would suggest they wouldn't fare well...

I agree Chemical, I like this kid's game. Too bad he doesn't have 1 more year here. It would be good to have him at the point next year with a freshman point guard on board to learn without the pressure of having to run the team. Good luck to him after graduation & hope he gets that opportunity to p...

Lots of hustle, tenacious defense and a refuse to lose attitude. That is the staple of jim baron coached uri teams. If he gets a couple of kids who can score consistently, his teams will always be in a position to win. His teams rebound as if thier lives depended on it. I love that. Ty Weeks influe...

Bruce: Congrats for going down swinging in your campaign and changing the topic of thread. I understand these are desperate times for your fire the coach campaign, but try not rooting for losses, try supporting the team and wait until the season is over to slander the team. the players the program ...

I don't think it's so cut & dry, but here's my opinion for what it's worth. I've stated it before, I'm not a big fan of LapBall, but if your projections are right with regards to record, that comes out to (average) a 20 win season for the next 7. Should get us into postseason play every year, make t...

All in fun. Seriously I hope the players put together a few good games to end the season & if postseason play happens, I wish them the best. I'm sure they're busting their ass, so it would be a good reward for them to get a chance to play in postseason. Keep the info coming in Rocks, you're our main...

I think Freeman is pretty good, I'd take him if he had two left hands. Have to remember, he's basically a sophomore, and should get better each year if the staff does their job. I'd bet that by the time he's a senior, everyone will know who he is and who he plays for. They all could work on somethin...

What I don't like about Chadwick's game is the high number of offensive fouls. It's a regular occurrence. I'm fine with it. You obviously don't want to see fouls called, but it means that he's aggressive and that's something we've lacked as a team for a long time. Same with Lasme. Chadwick lowering...

How can you be so sure that a new coach couldn't make these players better than they are now? And if guys leave, maybe a new coach brings more talent with him. You make a change to get better, not just to make a change.
