Re: KAEO: Sean East

You're fucking hilarious.
My nephew's cousin's sister's godmother's son thought maybe they kind of forced him out.

I'm sure if you revealed your 1st or 2nd hand info it would just put this to rest but we'll leave it at the 3rd/4th hand info that Sean left because he didn't want to compete

Re: KAEO: Sean East

Kinda contradicts the twitter post, no?

My guess is Sean would have welcomed the challenge unless he was told he lost his job. Please, fill us in what really happened?

Re: KAEO: Sean East

My main thing with this is let them battle it out. If you're gonna say they decided what roles are going to be filled, that to me is the same as slotting guys. And I agree with Jackson about the offensive players/ minutes thing. Its about playing hard in the minutes you get, and if you want more, ex...

Re: KAEO: Sean East

I just find it very odd that a coach brings in a kid who starts and plays pretty well as a freshman is now no longer valuable to the team after 1 year of being in town. No character or discipline issues that we've heard of either. So I think its only fair that kids can transfer out anytime they want...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

I'd agree with TJ because of the UMass connection with his father, but I'd say Preston was the beginning of the connection of Tony coming whether he was hired yet or not. Earlier stories had said he was interested in the UMass job. I'm glad he is here

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Players develop and improve more often than not during their soph/junior/senior seasons. Going with a 1 yr shooting % only is kind of short sighted. By that logic, what is MM's winning % , yr 1, 2, & 3? What % of players have left and what % of players HE'S brought in are still here and will be a bi...

Re: Which (likely) returning playing will improve his game the most next year (2020-21)? Pick 2

I can have my opinion can't I? Personally I think it sends a pretty shitty message to a kid who comes in as a freshman, plays a ton, contributes a lot, and has a pretty good upside, but gets shown the door after 1 season. And I don't believe that he wouldn't see any time. Why bring in so many kids l...

^If you're referring to Santos, I think he's got a cleaner path to a future with the chemistry with the Woodstock kids and TB in his corner.
Ya, exactly

Re: KAEO: Sean East

So basically this comes down to who you feel is the better player, Kolton or East. I'd take Sean
Hope the staff made the right choice and Fernandes and Garcia are both ready to go

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Yes, that seems the most likely to me, same with Buggs. You're kidding, right? No, not kidding, especially considering he wasn't highly recruited nor did he have a big role this past season. Why is this unbelievable to you? If the staff told Sean he was likely to be the 10th option, but he could st...

Well, we seem to be loaded on the wings so it wouldn't surprise me if he was "recruited over" as well. If that happens I'm out on UMass basketball

you always try to get the best players regardless of your current roster.
And you should try to keep them
