Re: Game 3: @Charlotte - 9/14/2019

^ I understand what you’re saying.

My post was a response based on the context of 78’s post.

Given how badly UMass lost its first three game, how is regression even possible as the the season progresses?

^ I thought the  said how seriously I was asking that question.

UMass’ football motto should be “We’ve been down so long it looks like up to us.” :?

Re: 2019-20 season

The style of play demonstrated on the USVI trip adds to me optimism! Did you go? I have not heard any real 3rd party accounts? Sorry LS I am not trying to be a smartass.... i know you’re not. I wish I could have gone. From what I read it was a pressing, forcing turnovers and running type of game th...

Re: 2019-20 season

I’m not good at making predictions, but I feel as optimistic about this year’s basketball team as I am pessimistic about the football team. I think the talent level is higher than it’s been and if the apparent buy-in/team chemistry is for real I think UMass will be a surprise team in the A-10. The s...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Saw a post on FB announcing the addition of Walker to the roster. Nothing was said about when he'd be eligible to play.

Re: State of the Progam

^ Don’t get wrong, Floyd. I was, I am UMass!

Over time I’ve let all the little things go because of that. But the continuing negative that the football program has become just pisses me off.

See you at the Bill during hoops season. Maybe you can talk me off the ledge... 8)

Re: State of the Progam

I won’t go the BC route, but I’m done too. I think back to the UMass-UNH play-off game in 3 2006...when fans weren’t allowed back in the stands after using the ‘facilities’...fans pissed at their seats...the stand reeked of urine as the liquid cascaded down the stands. Fast forward to the ‘big boy’ ...

Re: State of the Progam

After yesterday’s humiliation I’m feeling like this FBS ‘experiment’ has been one long WTF! Seems like it hasn’t mattered who the coach has been UMass keeps doing thee same things over again...too many mistakes and unforced errors...self-inflicted wounds. They often start well but then get predictab...

Drop football, drop a dome over McGuirk and use it for hoops/hockey...the seating capacity, large for those sports, would make a it a great venue for NCAA tournaments! 8)

Four penalties in 1st quarter, lousy kicking game....hard to watch.
