Re: 2019-20 season

^ I like those memories more than the one from that time UMass played at Mohegan.

If I’m not mistaken that last visit was a loss to CCSU.

Talk about a long ride back to WMass. :(

Re: 2019-20 season

^ The talent level is higher and those who stayed have bought in.

There’s more reason to optimistic for next season than there was for last season!

Go UMass! 8)

Re: NCAA Tournament 2019

One of the announcers said it...score first and play defense. That’s the UMD way. They executed to perfection.

That said I couldn’t be prouder of UMass!

Win lose or draw...they’ve set the example for all UMass teams to follow!

Re: NCAA Tournament 2019

^ Thanks.

For some reason I thought UMass was a 1 and UMD was a 2.

Hopefully, coach of the year + player of the year on the team of the year = national championship!

GO UMASS!!

Re: State of the program

On ch. 22 news this morning a reporter interviewed a football player...wish I could remember his name...about hockey’s win last night as he made his way to practice this morning. His response was, their win was our win too. He gets what it means to play for the name on the FRONT of the jersey! GO UM...

MM may well have had an excellent reason to not run those plays, but could he explain that to the player off line in a couple minutes? You cannot expect college kids to know how to ask that. Re: State of the program

^ I was referring to the off season, not TheOFFSeason!

Your posts provide context to the apparent chaos and help to keep me reasonably sane. 8)

Re: State of the program

^^ I’m glad you used the word ’claim’.

Who knows what may have occurred that led to MM deciding not to run those plays.

The season ended officially less than a week ago, and the off season has already given me a headache of epic proportions.

Re: KAEO: Jonathan Laurent

I too appreciate the insight that OFFseason has shared with us.
With so much going on in the program his posts have given me reasons to feel positive about the direction of the program...especially in the face of last season and the subsequent fallout.
