Re: COVID-19 Discussion

Been getting emails from various UM departments with Covid19 references... The latest one, this a.m., from the Dean of the College of Natural Sciences, to which neither SM nor Mrs. SM has any affinity... ^Crenshaw is a pretty cool dude I would love to have as my Rep., altho I am sure the typical ultra liberal posters here would find one-sided faults with him as well.

Re: COVID-19 Discussion

I mean I know it's an old barn but we played D1 there for decades. Schools have done this in their old fieldhouses...

Exhibition would be great!
I think that's the only possibility and I'm all for it. As an old guy, I saw all of my games as a student there.
Woosh...

Re: COVID-19 Discussion

Clothes have zippers etc on them so i don't think that metal strip is an issue. Throw them in separately by themselves for a few minutes. They don't get destroyed. If you are talking about heating clothes in the dryer to possibly kill any virus exposure, refer back to my comment re: putting one's j...

Re: COVID-19 Discussion

^ Thanks for the Q... Keep in mind that I am talking about N95 masks; more specifically, with flexible metal nose pieces... The method I used and described required a rather controlled heat environment, which, IMO, is closely approximated in the oven. Perhaps there are some expensive clothes dryers ...
