Hope they've got some cash, because I think it will be a cold day in hell (or Stillwater if that isn't the same thing) before UMass releases any player from his scholarship to play for Oklahoma State.

Yeah. That's the best thing UMass can do...

If a player doesn't want to be here, why ...

One of the reasons that Ford "succeeded" at UMass was because of his ability to get transfers. Some left bigger-profile shools to attend a smaller-profile school (like UMass). Forbes, Milligan and Gurley (did not play this year) all left their high-profile schools where some excelled and some didn't ...

Chip's a good guy. I have met him several times before and enjoyed his company. Out of the paper, he is very warm and engaging and very easy to talk to.

He writes what he thinks. I don't really think we can all get upset at one guy for writing his opinion. And I think it was wrong of UMass Media ...

I don't like the fact that a lot of peeps are picking UMass... That may get BC more and more focused.

I was at the Navy-Boston College game, and Navy totally dominated them (which bodes very well for us, because we really hung with Navy last year). They fumbled on third down at about their own 40 when trying to run out the clock with about 1:30 left and no BC timeouts. BC recovered and kicked a ...

White is a very good player. I saw him play a few times (on TV) and he can do a lot of things well. He can shoot the three pretty well and can drive to the hole. I watched him in the Big 12 Tournament when he scored 22 against Oklahoma, and he was doing everything right.

You don't get on the All ...

KAEO Jamel White

From the Omaha-World Herald ... Sadler said he was aware of White making only one visit, to Massachusetts, with no decision yet. White, who started 16 games for Nebraska last season, was suspended from the team in February for disciplinary reasons.

White was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team ...

I don't mean to stir the pot at all, and just wanted all your opinions.
This type of crap happens all the time (mostly in football), but this is the most news that has ever happened because of it. Why do you all think that is? Is it because it is big bad Kentucky did it for a road game?
I just ...

It looks like the pussycats of KY jellyland are looking to graduate from the puke-on school of scheduling.

It's getting harder and harder for a school like UMass to climb up out of the pack to get some recognition.

Too bad our conference and its putrid TV contract suck so bad. There's no help ...

Kentucky did take into consideration that Ford is a former Wildcat, but in the end didn't want to have five games away from Rupp.

Or maybe Gillespie just doesn't want to take any chance of possibly losing to someone who would like to have his job in the future?

Yeah. That's probably it. :roll ...

I think its a great idea. Its a great thing for the Amherst kids, its a good crowd-getter, its against a quality team...

one that i absolutely hated, and was directly responsible for some broken furniture, was the game, i want to say in fall of 02, where we were up something like 20-9 at half against uconn and they came back to beat us. not totally unexpected i know but that was infuriating.

i think we were up 29-9 ...
