Not to get too far off the intial thread, but got me thinking...

Mack vs. Ricky??

obv will depend on Ricky's final season, but right now I gotta go with Mack... dominating the DVD's from K-mart stat push him over the edge

for real??! distance really does makes the heart grow fonder...

Life was a talented shooter... but he was also a throat slashing clown who couldn't play d and walked around like he was god's gift.

Not to mention that he honestly believed he was an NBA talent and went on to trash Umass and the ...

I think Lynch is probably more like Jackie who had a pretty good back to the basket game (problem was that he never got the ball enough, but thats another story for another day.) Freeman had kind of a strange style. He wasn't very athletic so he used a lot of pump fakes and such.

Jackie's ...

I think carrier has really hit the nail on the head...

With all the success that he had... I'm starting to realize that TFord really kind of left the Umass cupboard bare for this year... especially if you're not going to run and gun.

I agree with a lot of the observations... DK said DDM was 40-50% implemented so we're seeing a really stripped down version of it. I would like to see him a little more fired up sometimes though...

... but my main question is: Does "inventing" an offense exclude you from having to follow the dress ...

In my experience there would certainly be a football player or two capable of helping out at least physically in practice. Not sure what Brown would think about it or if he'd really have any say.

Kevin Macon is 6'6'' and 315 lbs. He also played basketball in high school. While his height isn't ...

No question this is a two horse race between C-lowe and Ricky. They're the two best returning players and potential co-captains. (unless DK takes the Ford philosophy and just automatically makes every senior a captain.)

I lean toward Ricky and here's why... Lowe's the senior pg and the leader of ...

I think Barbee leaving UTEP at this point could be questionable...

... clearly Umass is a better job and he is an alum but, assuming he has a little more class that TFord, wouldn't be a little premature for him? Not saying it won't happen, but I don't think he's a sure fire get if McCutch sends him ...

I feel like Cuse is a much better team now than they were at the begining of the season. It's going to take a huge defensive effort from the guys to make it to MSG. We're also going to really miss Gafney's hussle if he can't play.

I understand that no one expected this season in October, but the thing that hurts the most is that we always appear to be on the cusp of becoming relevant, and then blow it.

Whether it's last year, or the Vandy game this year, or this loss, it just a big tease.

Umass is the smoking hot girl at ...

Hello NIT... and after that debacle, it's probably deserved. One game and we were a lock... can't get it done. Kinda pathetic.
