Re: 2019 Season

TV announced for the FB games: https://umassathletics.com/news/2019/8/5/umass-announces-football-broadcast-partnership-with-flosports-nesn-home-game-kickoff-times.aspx Gotta give props to the athletic dept. for this. Love having all the home games on NESN. Except for when you can't watch the game l...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

^ Quite right, use all the tools available to you, anything less is just stupid. Is that sorta like, if you have a few hundred K laying around you use it to make a "donation" so that your kid(s) gets into a top school? Could that be how you build a program? Could also mean that McCall doesn't have ...

Re: Who will not be back next year?

I guarantee you that if Clergeot was the only one to transfer this would be a completely improved team next year. Just from what I see at the games, I get the impression that he is a bully leader. I think that one of the reason's that Pip production dropped off and a contributing factor to his leavi...

Re: Game 22, 2018-19: at Saint Joseph's (2/2)

Welp, I think the original poster that brought this up accomplished his goal of wanting to stir things up. He should change his name to Skip A Smith or something like that. I imagine he's at home, all aroused as he reads upset folks making post after post about his original comment. I also imagine ...

Re: Game 21, 2018-19: at La Salle (1/30)

Think what you guys like about me, it's fine. I'm not a troll, I've been following this board and UMass hoops longer than this current board has been in existence and been a huge fan and supporter. I can't explain what I am seeing from Pip and just throwing out thoughts. 3rd world country, yeah I've...

Re: State of the program

'96 , not sure if you're just stirring things up, but that's a pretty serious thing to bring up. I highly doubt he's that kind of kid who would jeopardize his future with that stuff. I'm sure they're all a little disappointed with how the season has gone so far. But finish strong and its not a lost...

I would have posted in just one...

so you don't see what I see from Pip? You can't chalk this up to one game, this is a consistent pattern.

Re: KAEO LuWane Pipkins (PG-2015)

I absolutely agree. I'm just looking to make sense of what I am seeing on the court from him. What we are seeing is not a slump. The mistakes that he is making are beyond mental mistakes or laziness. If it wasn't Pip, then I would say he doesn't deserve to start based on the past 7 games performance.

Re: Game 21, 2018-19: at La Salle (1/30)

They looked lucky against URI. If those threes don't fall from Carl, there's nothing to suggest that scoring would have come from somewhere else. Baptiste has two left hands in the paint on offense. Laurent is playing less aggressive, Cobb looks like he is playing scared on a short leash, Pip looks ...
