http://www.palmbeachpost.com/heat/content/sports/epaper/2008/04/15/a3c_heat_0415.html Article on the D-League players who are playing with the Heat during a down year and about how it is still very much a privilege to play with the big boys. Always great for Steph to get some love! my first attempt...

We are looking at this issue through umass glasses; ford is trying to strike while the iron is hot and he sees the big east and sec as a set up. What angers me is that Cal, who is a much better coach and ambassador of the university, gave this school many more seasons and victories. I like so many o...

As bad as everyone on the board thinks the PC job is, the reality of the situation is that it is a big east job. For some reason this one scares me!
On a side note look for Mike Brey to be named LSU coach in the very near future.

Sorry Mike, it wasn't a knock on UMass, it was more of a look at one university and their alumni's response to the excitement of March. I think it says more about what basketball means to the campus environment than the wealth of an endowment. Make no doubt about it this run to New York is the bigge...

Sorry in advance for the long winded nature of this post, but reading the details on the charter trip to NYC made me think about an email i was forwarded by a davidson alum, apparently the trustees of the school will be paying for ANY student to travel to the sweet 16 and elite 8, including hotel ro...

What Etienne has done this year is nothing short of amazing, from his scoring, rebounding and defense he has been the one guy not affraid to do the little things that sometimes get over looked. Where would we be this season if it wasn't for him? He is one of those kids that you wish could have a few...

I agree with the assessment that if you are within driving distance and not there than you can not comment on the attendance with a straight face, I am jealous of everyone in the northeast as I am stuck watching streaming video in the south! Like it or not winter session throws a huge wrench into th...

I'll be there to support the boys, my first game of the season. Should be a great game and will be another chance for UMass to show the world (and Amherst) what everyone on this board knows...that we are back on the basketball map. Seats are in section 2L behind the UMass bench. Let me know if anyon...

I know we wanted this one locked up but I wanted to see if anyone was planning a trip to Nashville to see the game and if we knew which end of the court the umass bench would be?

No offense Mike, but I have a hard time seeing the similarities between UMass and Minnesota. Minnesota is a step below kentucky, but still on par with the best in the country. Lappas left Nova and had no other choice but pick UMass. Tubby is a very good coach who probably could have picked his next ...

I heard from a friend that Coach Ford has politely taken his name out of the running for the USF job, with the reasoning being that he thinks he will get a serious look in Kentucky. Take it for what it’s worth…

Does anyone know why in the world direct TV wouldn't carry Comcast sports Philly? They carry every other station but that one; looks like us out of towners are denied once again....I fucking hate the mid-major label of the a-10.
