Re: 2020-21 Season

Twitter has a whole series of tweets from Nick Lorensen, a writer for "Mid- Major Madness". Comments from McCall, Mitchell and Pierre on A10 Media Day. This one caught my eye, shocked me and brought a smile to my face. There is no reason for Carl to over-hype this: Nick Lorensen @nlorense...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

With this year technically not counting we could have no scholarships left if cp and gasperini decide they want to stay

I totally respect bamford for doing the right thing and not regretting it one bit and saying he would do it all again but sometimes I wish we weren’t so by the book

Re: 2023 Recruiting

We just offered Mackenzie Mgbako from NJ. My first thought is why? He has multiple offers from high major programs and UCLA also offered him yesterday. Do we normally just throw offers out and hope one sticks or do we have some sort of connection with him? https://247sports.com/Player/Mackenzie-Mgb...

Marshall liked Fernandes think Fernandes really just wanted to be closer to home in an environment that was more comfortable

Re: 2020-21 Season

^ I'll start since I my be the cause of this discussion. At any rate, at least we're talking about BB rather than all of the other crap going on. MM got Santos on 11/15/18. That was our first Woodstock connection. (Get ready for "fake news") We got Tre and TJ on 4/17/19. We didn't get Ber...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

^ Assuming nobody else leaves, and that's a real stretch, we do have 2 spot open. Mathews replaces Gasperini. I would opt for a shooter and another big. I think we have enough wings. Watching his videos, he looks like a good rebounder. He has good instincts and times his jumps well. I'm seeing post...

Re: KAEO: John Buggs III

I've really lost some of my enthusiasm. I haven't enjoyed seeing players I like leave the team. Okay, Samba, I understand he really lacked the necessary offensive skills and didn't seem to improving (except for his foul shooting, which got much better). But I still don't understand what happened wi...

Re: 2020-21 Season

Seems like the plan, or lack there of, for football across the nation was to test frequently and hope COVID disappeared or was cured by the first week of September. Haven’t seen anything outlining a plan for college basketball which means it’s likely going to be more of the same. At this point I’d ...

Re: 2020-21 Season

It's not surprising, especially if Noah gets his waiver. We have a lot of guards, maybe not a lot of PT for him. I'll miss him though. He seems like a great kid and a great teammate. Best of luck JB, wherever you end up. He also has been away from home for the past two years having attended Putnam ...

Re: 2020-21 Season

https://dailycollegian.com/2020/03/freshman-film-room-javohn-garcia/ Did you ever watch Amin's breakdown? I watched all of Amin's breakdowns, and enjoyed them. That said, I think Amin tended to over-rate the players. For example, if you watch game tape of Dyondre Dominguez (not highlights) you'll s...

Re: 2020-21 Season

^ If you didn't know, Garcia and Walker played together in Ohio. There are just sooo many connections on the team. Here's a video of them but it doesn't indicate when or at what level of competition. https://twitter.com/dc_270/status/1275187157561475086 It’s an open run in Ohio from this summer mos...
