Yeah, look how IV has transformed into this mellow , positive dude. Things can happen!

I've always been on the positive/glass half full side of things. Mellow is debatable.
Are you talking about keeping your beer at least half full or...

Potentially limited on how much space they have to bring things when they go on the road?

Re: Tajae

If they knock off kc this week, that may be the most impressive run to super bowl ever. Knock off the top 3 seeds on the road. I’m pulling for Vrabel and them, they’re a likable team. It's very easy to root for the Titans, outside of just Tajae and Vrabel. Got to take in the game last season where ...

Re: OFFICIAL UMass references in Television, Film, etc. thread

I think state schools (flaship campuses, smaller satellite campuses and other state universities) are in the best spot going forward. Still the greatest bang for your buck when it comes to going to college education and the gap is getting larger. Unless you get a scholarship or are going to an Ivy ...

Re: 2019-20 Team Rankings

We ended last year solidly in the 200s right? I'd be happy to us in the mid 100s even with all the injuries this time around. Not a drastic improvement, but definitely progress.

Re: KAEO: Dibaji Walker

So now that the 18th has come and gone and there is no decision: what date of a positive decision makes it too late for him to play this season, in your opinions? Once we got into late November, I had been vocal that he should sit and get 3 full years rather than waste one of those years on a half ...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Currently (on 247) ranked as the #81 recruiting class. #80 = Houston #82 = Miami OH #83 = Temple Obviously it's going to change as time goes on, but it's not a bad place to be as of right now. Just noticed that Sammy Solomon also had offers from BC, Rutgers, and Syracuse. That's a fun group to win a...

Interesting that the list is alphabetical by last name and it ends at 'M' (Ethan Mottinger). Where are the N-Z players?
Probably in New Zealand.

Re: Should McCall be given a third year

The team is playing like one that's filled with freshmen, in that they have games where everything seems to be clicking and they have good signs, and then games where they make bad decisions like not running down the shot clock when you have a lead late in the game. I think we need to give him the t...

Re: 2019-20 Season

Those past two posts are exactly my point. it's crazy to think I was getting disappointed by what measures up to still being a good season.

Sometimes it's fun to be spoiled...but can't let that get us bitter about it.

Re: 2019-20 Season

It's weird what 1 year can do to you.

I feel like this season has been up and down and has given me some disappointing moments...but the team is ranked #9 in this week's poll and #10 in the pairwise (while only being 0.0011 behind 9th there). #6 in win% too.

Re: 2020 Presidential Election

^^^^ I’m not a registered Democrat but I really like the ideas coming from Tulsi, Yang and Steyer. If Warren wins the nomination, we’ll be saying President Trump until 2024. I'm also not a registered democrat (and never have been). I love the confusing looks at the primaries when I walk up and they...

Re: 2020 Presidential Election

Sorry for what's to come below here. I pay way too much attention to this sort of thing and like providing details. OK, I'll bite. I'm thinking the Dems need a candidate who is not elderly, is an intelligent, camera friendly non socialist who is a mild liberal on domestic issues and somewhat of a ha...

Re: 2019-20 Season

Has anyone signed up for the CBS All Access for Hockey East games? How's it working and what does it cost? There is a "try it free" button that I want to use tomorrow night for Cale's game to test it. I did the "try it free" for a previous game and then canceled right after. They've been emailing m...

Yikes... everyone is bailing.
Not me - I'll be there. Though I'll be going with someone who supports Harvard (because she works there).

Probably going to hit up the pregame activities too.
