Re: 2020-21 Season

I definitely think Tre can get a 20/20 game if he really wants to. He had all his biggest games last season in conference, a few of them against excellent defensive big men. He still hadn't figured out the college game during the early non-conference when we played the weakest teams last season. Not...

Re: Dribble N’ Dimes Podcast

Checking out Forbe's Wikipedia page, impressive that Ford got him to UMass. He was ranked 20th in the country coming out of high school and had 2 solid years at Virginia before Gillen resigned and he transferred to Amherst.

Re: 2021 Recruiting

You're right, at the end of the day stars don't mean too much. But I think TB should be able to bring another impact player, probably not as good as Tre but maybe a similar hype level coming out of HS. If Jahvon is that kind of player then I'll be very impressed. Hopefully we get to see them on the ...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

I'm expecting TB to pull down at least 1 solid 4 star in this class. Time for his recruiting connections beyond Woodstock to reveal themselves (I believe he has them).

Re: Pat Kelsey

I've been on this board since then and don't remember any details of these "bad things behind the scenes" things ever coming to light. Only something about Deeky acting like an immature kid. That last class from DK seemed to be based on talent more than fit/culture, so I don't doubt some of those gu...

Re: 2020-21 Season

Tony and Tre seem very tight so I don't know if I see Tre leaving for another school, especially if we have a really good season in 20-21. It's well known Tony wants to be the head coach here, and if Tre left for another school I think his chances would take a big hit. Tre needs to do what's best f...

If fans can’t be in attendance don’t see how it’s safe to have students on campus
I guess during a call with Pence including the heads of NCAA conferences, they told him that there would not be any sports unless students are on campus.

Re: 2020-21 Season

This is a question mainly for OffSeason, but if anyone else feels like they have a better idea than the general public feel free to chime in. What’s the general consensus within the program about whether or not we see something resembling a normal season next year? Obviously no one in the world know...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

DD's shooting really caught my eye looking at his highlights. If he can handle himself OK in the paint he could be an excellent 4 man.

Re: 2020 Recruiting

They’ll run deep this year, and that’s my point on the turnover. I feel like some of these guys aren’t going to be getting the minutes their talent levels dictates, and they will be looking for a bigger opportunity as their career progresses. Nothing wrong with it, just the reality of the times. And...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

I see a pattern with these last 2 recruiting cycles, apart from the obvious TB/Woodstock set up. Seems like they are embracing the reality that 2-4 kids are going to be transferring out every year. As a result they’re trying to fill out the roster with the most talented kids available and let playin...

Re: KAEO: CJ Jackson

And Malik Hines? Off topic, but I was thinking of Malik Hines as the most recent guy on the team that compares to Gasperini. Not sure how accurate that comparison is with the exact type of player they are, but more so the type of impact/performance we could get from him.

Degray reminds me of Sampson Carter in the few highlights I’ve seen.

Re: 2020 Recruiting

The “decision” type announcement is pretty standard, and has been for at least the past 3-4 years all across the D1 level. The top recruits have always done it, picking out the hat, etc.
