Re: 2020-21 season
44 years is a very long time. Suspect at least 50% of the people on the board weren't born the last time the Women were 10-2. Congrats to the team.

Re: Games 1 & 2, 2020-2021 Northeastern (12/11 & 12/13)
Looking at the box score, other than TJ the final line for the bench was 0-9 in 26 minutes, 0-5 for 3s, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 0 blocks or steals, 2 turnovers and 2 fouls. That's downright ugly and they need more than a 6 man rotation.

It would be great to either have Santos back or D Walker to straighten out whatever issues that caused the coach to bench him for the opener. We could use either one to help out in the front court. One thing I've liked in the first two games is that the team seems much more active going to the boards.

Re: 2020-21 season
Nice to look at this morning's paper and see that the Women are on NESN after the men. With no Pats it would be great to see a lot of folks check it out.

I'll take that for a first game any time. Watching the guard play ratchets up my optimism a few notches.

Re: Game 3: FAU
No one anywhere has FAU up only 7-0 at the half. Great half for the D.

Saw somewhere that there's virtually no chance Beanpot was happening this year. That was before the Ivies cancelled.

Re: Friendly's Files for Bankruptcy
Just read this and it brought back memories. The Awful Awful was sold at a place called Bond's in New Jersey. Just remember that I ate something, finished it and got a button that read "I Was A Pig At Bond's".

Per capita, Chicago isn't even in the top 10 for murder rates in the U.S. for cities of 100,000 or more.

Re: 2019-20 season
Tongue in cheek. That was the team on the old show Coach with Craig Nelson and Jerry Van Dyke.
