Two entirely different types of frustrating.

Re: KAEO Tyrn Flowers 2016

Yeah I think both kids are probably playing at the level they belong. Glad they seem to be doing well, more so Unique who seemed like a good dude. Didn’t really hear much about Tyrn but good for him if he’s playing well.

Re: 2020-21 Season

I would like to think they are better next year and think they will be. I hate the cliché though about the sophomore jump because everyone just throws it out there as if it is definitely going to happen. That said, these kids seem like they work hard so I hope they progress as they should. I hope th...

Re: Game 17, 2019-20: at St Bonaventure (Rochester, 1/15)

Yeah they won a small handful of games last year that they weren't favored in. This year, I don't think they've won a single game where they were the dog (maybe Fairfield?). They've certainly had their chances. I think I've been both encouraged and disappointed at times throughout the season (probab...

Re: Game 17, 2019-20: at St Bonaventure (Rochester, 1/15)

Pretty disappointing. The Bonnies are pretty good and are well coached but we weren’t very good outside of Tre for the most part.

That’s my take after flipping through the game replay pretty quickly.

Well that’s enough for me. Surprised he wouldn’t have jumped at that chance.

Re: Game 16, 2019-20: at Dayton (1/11)

Dayton is really good. We were really bad.

Not the best start to A-10 play for East — 20 turnovers in 3 games. Hopefully he gets stronger with the ball...and on defense. As he goes so goes the team. Well at least it seems that way.

Re: 2020 Recruiting

I don’t know who all these athletes are that we have who drive the ball to the hoop. East can sometimes but it’s not because he’s athletic and he’s not good enough (yet) to do it consistently. Samba can sometimes when he’s got the athletic advantage but he disappears against teams that can match his...

Re: Game 16, 2019-20: at Dayton (1/11)

Welp this is a slap in the face so far and shows you how far we still have to go. Dayton is a really good, veteran team but we are making them look like Tark’s UNLV team out there. Jeesh. No one can create any offense, turning it over and the defense is a mess. We are just a young, overmatched team ...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

How good is Odukale? According to 247 Sports his other offers are from Manhattan, Niagra, Stony Brook, and St Bonaventure. New England Prep School Basketball says some nice stuff about him. The whole roster at Commonwealth looks interesting. Scroll down a ways to read about them. (I think it's alph...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Yeah I definitely think they need another big and it sounds like they think that too. I just think if they really like a kid and he wants to come then you take him and that other stuff will work itself out. Big-wise I kinda wish they went after that Hason Ward kid out of Springfield who is at VCU. H...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

He looks big and strong and athletic..could slide up on defense and play him with two or three other wings/guards. He looks like he is a good passer. I don’t want him over those guys I want him with those guys. (In reality I would want him over those guys if push came to shove, but then I sound like...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

With the way the game has been heading, I’m in the camp of you can never have enough... On Offense: Shooting Playmaking On Defense: Length (for all positions) Switchability I do see the need for a big (but realizing that whatever big we get is probably going to take some to develop) while also wanti...
