Re: Game 19, 2016-17: Saint Joseph's (1/18)

I think we all expected ups and downs with this young squad during A10 play. Some games they look great, others they're tough to watch. Although they got the W, this one was more of the latter. Glad to see Lewis step up and put the team on his back. I'm honestly surprised it took this long for him t...

Re: KAEO DeJon Jarreau (2016)

We're all gonna laugh at this overrated talk in 2 or 3 years when Deeky wins A10 POY. Used to be a lot of comedy posted on these pages back in the day but I seriously doubt there will be a lot of back slapping and laughing around this place regardless of what happens to the team. I'd have to agree ...

Re: And in other action tonight....

URI at Dayton on ESPN 2 right now which is likely a battle of two tournament teams. URI has legitimate power 5 type talent. Could be a scary team if they play up to potential.

Re: 2016-17 Season

I would love to see a lineup with Gresham playing alongside Holloway. Throw in Deeky, Pip and Flowers and we could have an interesting mix. Holloway would open up space for 3 shooters who would at least keep the defense modest. Deeky and Gresham could run the pick and roll which I think will eventua...

Sounds like you're validating my excellent observational skills then ; )
Only for senstive guys like you, snowflake.
Not only does this not make any sense but it's extremely ironic coming from someone that shot me a direct message lol!!! But my hijacking of the thread stops here. Sin...

Just sayin.... Well, I wouldn't expect somone who uses the tired phrase "just sayin" to be much of an astute observer Oh right, because that phrase directly correlates with my observation skills regarding a basketball forum. It's not our fault that you're overly negative and a positive post from yo...

Holloway with 12, 9 and 3 blocks but his presence was even bigger than the stat line. Team looked so much better on offense when they could dump the ball into him and space the floor.

Re: Game (TBD), 2016-17: at Georgia State

Gresham has such a high ceiling, especially on the defensive end. A lot of blocks and a lot of oops from Deeky in the future!!!

Re: 2016-17 Season

I think when it's all said and done Flowers will be a much better college basketball player than Putney. Flowers is skinny but his build will allow for far more muscle gain than Putneys ever would. He's already shown a very pure stroke from 3 and I believe as he gets more comfortable we'll see more ...

Re: And in other action tonight....

Michigan st lost to northeastern tonight by 8 points. State is having a down year but they did have the third ranked recruiting class in the country last year. For those of you worried about our team, please keep in mind that the majority of the key contributors are freshman or sophomores. Young tea...
