Re: KAEO: Sean East

Isn't simply stating something is doing just that, not making some weird condescending remark about being "mighty". Maybe take a break from this thread, you don't want it look worse than your Naadir Tharpe take. Damn, have you been waiting for 5 years to throw down that Tharpe line on me? You reall...

Re: KAEO: Sean East

Nobody called Bradley a powerhouse. People have used words like good and strong to describe them. In the last 20 years they've been to the dance 3 times (I'll count this year since they won the conference tourney), and made a Sweet 16 appearance, as well as having seven 20-win seasons. UMass in tha...

Re: KAEO: Sean East

^ Bradley is a fine program, not exactly a powerhouse though. UMass has been pretty shitty most years lately, no denying that.

Re: KAEO: Sean East

He did transfer down though A-10 is a better conference than the MVC. Bradley is a strong program and A10 v MVC is debatable. This statement is on the money.. The mighty Bradley Braves, owner of 1 season over .500 in MVC play in the last 11 seasons. Losing Wichita State a few years ago was a hit to...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

anyone else follow DD on Twitter? well if you do, I'm sure you know who his Dad is...showtimedad or something like that. Anyway, he's a poor mans Lavar Ball...I feel like he could be trouble if DD doesn't get the playing time the old man feels like he should get. I can see him being a one and done ...

When will the NCAA announce its transfer policy? It is strange that we haven't heard yet.

I assume they have more pressing things to figure out right now.
Date was pushed back to June.

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Your theoretically using that scholarship for the next 4 years...they will be getting involved with better talent going forward. You tell player XYZ that you're offering them a scholarship on a year to year basis. You see how things go in year 1 and decide from there. If they're not on board with t...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Degray doesn’t upgrade your talent level, he gives you another backup...that scholarship needs to be used by a talent upgrade next year. If they use the last scholarship in 2020-21, in 2021-22 UMass will have 2 open scholarships from departing seniors, and I think you can bank on at least 1 person ...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Still hope the last spot goes to a freshman big to develop as Tre's replacement. This... this more important than signing our 7th wing My take on this is that in theory it's a fine strategy, but there's not a huge pool of big men with A10 potential (even those who need development) who are willing ...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

I think this whole discussion about Gasperini is kind of hilarious. What we needed was a backup center to give Tre a breather. What we got was a backup center to give Tre a breather. At the very least, he's 6'10" and has three years of D1 experience. We saw what Tre could do with Djery as a backup,...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

This is all meaningless until we get the full assessment from Niles breaking down: - How's his motor? - What is his shooting stroke like - What about his Basketball Ball IQ - Is he a character guy? - Is he a volume shooter? - Game tapes - Most importantly, what current or past player does Nile find...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

^ I couldn't tell you for sure, recruiting can be strange. I believe he had a few P5 offers last year before electing to come back to Woodstock. Maybe he was holding out for a specific offer that never materialized.
