Re: 2020 Recruiting

Don't know if this is 2019 (2nd semester) or 2020, but we just offered a JUCO PG, Malik Zachery. This makes me think that the staff is not thrilled with the PG play so for. We have a few offers out for 2022 and I can understand that, but a JUCO PG is a different story. His connection: Commonwealth A...

Re: 2019-20 season

^ Interesting. I don’t think schools take players off rosters because they are injured. If he’s not on the roster, I would guess he’s not on the team anymore. Anyone know for sure how this works? If he had to quit BB because of his injuries I hope the school honors his scholarship. I have not heard...

Re: 2019-20 season

A couple of things. They couldn't play the style of D that they want to in the VI trip because we only had 8 players. Diallo didn't play and he is an important piece of the pressing defense. Also missing were Pierre, Buggs and Baptiste. The roster got updated today. They added Walker and did an into...

Re: Game 10, 2019-20: at Harvard (12/7)

Btw, what ever happened to krkess and his sheep herding brother The Athol Flash?! Baaaahhhh, Baaaahhhh, Bleet, Bleet... It sure would be nice for them make an appearance in Beantown in December. 8) I saw the "Athol Flash" last week but didn't see krkess. All is well but I got a sense that their int...

Re: 2020 Recruiting

Anyone know anything about Dibaji Walker from Cleveland State? I have read 2 different items that said he was walking on this year. As a walk-on, would he be allowed to play? He played 1 year at CSU and if he sits, he would have 3 years here. I don't think you can play 5 years even if one of them i...

Re: 2019-20 season

IIRC Ty's first year was very limited as he wasn't academically eligible. His first year playing may have been limited, but he stepped up in the championship game against Georgetown by shutting down Jahidi White, one of their main weapons. I always loved his toughness and how hard he played. Here a...

Re: 2021 Recruiting

Another SG offer. He's a 6'6 SG from Philly. Charley must not have received the notice that Ward decided not to go to VT Academy. FWIW, Class A is the lowest class in PA high school BB. That may be why his offers are less than stellar. Charley Neisner ‏@charleyneisner 9m9 minutes ago More UMass offe...

Re: Game 2: Southern Illinois - 9/7/2019

This is from my post after the Rutgers game. It's worse than I thought. Exactly. Our 3 starting D linemen are 280, 290 and 260. They can't be expected to hold their own against 300+ O linemen from any Big 10 school. Speed on the D line is not a factor, size is. I looked at SIU's roster and even thou...

It pains me to admit it, but we belong there until we win our way off of the list. It has to start this week against SIU.
