Re: Coach Frank Martin
I think it would be a good thing for UMass, and gives Frank both some short-term breathing room and build his recruiting panache nationally. I'm sorry, but breathing room, from what? He's in year 1 at UMass, it's not like he's near the end of his contract and needs to show results or he gets fired....

Re: 2022 Season
Who knows what the rules are anymore, and NIL seems to make things worse. The word commitment is old school now, perhaps 'tagged' or "first choice' are better monikers. And who knows who is whispering in Dad's ear about better opportunities? Certainly, this is much looser than 'early decision' ...

Re: Realignment: Texas/OK->SEC; UCF, BYU, Ciny,Houston->BigXII-dominos
TV money only stretches so far, and as Gordon Gecko said "Greed works, greed clarifies.." Every team asked into a super conference will need to bring major TV audiences and ratings with them, as 'good traveling audiences' will wilt away with the sheer distances involved. 18 seems right to ...

Re: Grad transfer
I coached and officiated at some MBYLL games around 2009 or so - huge fields. The timing was so tight we had to run a siren to start and end games, and not allow each game ref to keep time.

Re: Grad transfer
The marketing of HS students to be visible to be college lax players is off the hook.
With limited recruiting budgets, most are D3 coaches, no schollys.

Wow - crazy travel, especially for the non-revenue sports. Just shows the tiers even within FBS with SEC, BIG10 becoming even bigger top dogs.
