Re: Game 4, 2019-20: Central CT (11/16)

What a difference a year makes. This team takes care of business like a team of seniors that is tournament tested. Made today look like a scrimmage with consistent execution and hard play. Very connected team. Sorry for Buggs I hope it’s a case of looks worse than it it is! The UNDEFEATED UMASS MINU...

Re: Game 4, 2019-20: Central CT (11/16)

Only way I could see us sniffing NIT this year based on schedule was for us to have a 5-0 start. Schedule gets really tough after that. (Trying not to get my expectations too high too fast, this is a freshman dominated team). NIT would be an amazing result and way above my central expectation of abo...

Pierre will be the Jim McCoy of the program, the guy who got it all started. The Godfather.

Re: KAEO: Carl Pierre

Carl just passed Lorenzo Sutton for 9th place in career 3 pointers made with 181. Next up: Trey Davis with 188. Carl should reach #1 by his 25th game of his senior year - a record that may be broken in Weeks senior year. Except Weeks is going pro after his junior season and our Final Four run! Just...

Re: KAEO: TJ Weeks

East ran the offense, dragged the team's two best shooters back into the game and helped lead the Minutemen to a win on the road." That is a significant statement. We’ve had too many score first point guards that when things go bad they start playing hero ball. East recognizing he’s got two premier...

Re: Game 3, 2019-20: Northeastern (11/12)

I'm also impressed with the animation and game involvement of the coaches. In short this is setting up for a fun season and hope for the future of UMASS BB! Was going to comment on that, do you see how much fun MM seems to be having. He was so pumped up after Pierre made a few shots as he came over...

Re: Game 3, 2019-20: Northeastern (11/12)

I love watching UMass again. I love watching the Celtics again without Kyrie. This is turning into a beautiful basketball season. Great to see CP get on track in the 2nd half, there will be games where he and TJ are an impossible combination to deal with. Sean East = real deal. Djery was especially ...

What’s happening with CJ Jackson? I don’t remember seeing him play yet, has he been hurt? Seems like he was tearing it up on the Virgin Island trip

Re: Kaeo: Rashaan holloway

Wow!!!!! This makes me like the current team even more. Rashaan Holloway ‏@Chasin_DaDream Follow Follow @Chasin_DaDream More Replying to @JoeBGlynn2 We didn’t win because didn’t play for each other. Didn’t have anything to do with Coach McCall. I don’t think. We had the tools. Just didn’t use them....

Re: Game 2, 2019-20: at Fairfield (Bridgeport, 11/9)

I really liked the announcers. They were knowledgeable about basketball and showed a lots of interest in how the game was being played. It wasn't all about Fairfield for them. At times I thought they were umass announcers. Very professional team and unbiased. Will take the win although that was pre...

Re: Game 2, 2019-20: at Fairfield (Bridgeport, 11/9)

Important we get off to a fast start and knock down these "should win" games. I seriously doubt we will take anyone for granted this season so not worried about complacency. Schedule gets much tougher soon. Loved the way we played in game one, I think we are going to run these guys off the floor, bu...

I think our top end, everything goes right season could make the NIT, but definitely not an expectation.

Yea but watching the replay that was a horrible call. Not a flop at all, he took contact and actually came away limping. If I'm coach I'm telling him to keep playing that way and make the refs make better calls.

Re: Game 1, 2019-20: UMass-Lowell (11/5)

That was a lot of fun to watch! So many good points starting with TJ he just has the look of a gunner that will light it up for (hopefully) 4 years. That's a lot of firepower with Carl and TJ on the court together. Solid play from Tre and Djery looked very good defensively. This has the look of a te...

Re: UConn back to the Big East?

"The Huskies lost their geographic relevance in basketball by leaving the Big East, as organic rivals like Providence, St. John’s and Syracuse were replaced by strangers like Tulane, East Carolina and Memphis. Passion has been replaced by apathy, as once-teeming arenas became filled with empty seats...
