Re: State of the Progam

So if the transfer rumors are true, the only running backs on the team next year will be those who are included in this year's recruiting class. I guess we have to include Roberson, a converted wide receiver and Santiago, a converted linebacker, but I would prefer real running backs. It's easy to s...

Re: State of the Progam

I think most of us know this, but we will be awful again next year and still not good the year after. Can’t wait... https://www.masslive.com/umassfootball/ ... utour.html

Re: Game 8, 2019-20: at Rutgers (11/29)

I’m not sure what people’s expectations are for this team. If they win more than 12 games I will be thrilled and that’s what I have said from the beginning. As for the coaching, the press has been completely ineffective the last few games and there have been no adjustments. I’m still in the extremel...

Re: Game 8, 2019-20: at Rutgers (11/29)

Regarding Carl, when you have an offense that does absolutely nothing to free him up for shots, then we should not expect too much. The defense keys on him and we run No set plays for him, no screens, nothing. He’s not a create your own offense kind of guy. I’ve been complaining about this from the ...

Re: 2019-2020 Season

Jess Nelson had knee surgery I believe and will be out most, if not all, of the year. Seems like a good idea would be a medical redshirt and she would still have 3 more years of eligibility. That’s a big loss. They really need her, as the freshman starting at center is far from bring ready for prim...

That was healthy scholarship players. It did not list those that were injured.
So wait, we have 40 or more players injured? Ummmm, I would highly doubt that.

Re: FIRE WALT BELL!

So the team website lists 98 players on the roster. If there were only 45 scholarship players dressed Saturday, where did all the others go? At this point I believe none of the information coming from Bell and company.

Re: Game 7, 2019-20: vs St. John's (Mohegan Sun, 11/24)

Feel badly for Chatman. This weekend he looks like he has been away from the game for a long time. The team is still ahead of where I expected them to be, but they have a long way to go to be a consistent, good team. They’re freshmen. Also, St. John’s stopped sleep walking.

Re: FIRE WALT BELL!

Was listening to game,(also, the Virginia basketball game) on Sirius while traveling.. The BYU announcers could not understand why we used a hurry up offense. Said something liked it looked like our plan was to get the ball back to BYU ASAP. That’s a question a lot of us have been asking the entire...

Re: 2019-20 Season

They played about 15 minutes of good hockey this weekend and really deserved to lose both games. Two more 5-minute majors and DQ’s tonight, including one on Felix at the 20 minute mark of the third period. My guess is he might get a one-game suspension. Kessel’s 5 and DQ was for elbowing and did not...

632 points allowed shatters the record. A colossal embarrassment.

Re: 2019-20 Season

^^ I’m not worried about Pairwise now...I’m actually starting to worry about the makeup of this team. 11 games in and we are seeing the same problems - undisciplined play and dumb penalties, a bad power play, inconsistent effort, including at times little or no effort. We knew there would be challen...
