Re: 2020 Recruiting

Could be anyone. Maybe one of the freshman thats behind someone decides he wants to play more and leaves. Who knows. Turnover happens, especially in this day and age. Let it all play out and see who's earning the minutes I guess

Re: 2019-20 season

I think the addition of TB and the rest of the staff will be a big plus and have a big effect on the team. His established relationships with the Woodstock kids will certainly help with the chemistry. I'm with LS and feel pretty optimistic they will be much improved and fun to watch. Lookin forward ...

All of the comments about being a fan through thick or thin are great, but the thread is State of the Program; and that state is dismal, with no evidence that that will change any time soon, if ever.

Re: State of the Progam

^ see what a good nights sleep will do for ya

I figure if I sat thru the 2-24 Ray Wilson years and being the worst D1 team in the country that I can make it thru this football transition. Just need the right coach/staff to get it done. Hopefully this one can do it

Yes, you will, and hopefully someone takes note and we see you at halfcourt for all your seasons of being a STH. You can't give it up LS, you know that 8)

Re: State of the Progam

I love football, I love UMass. It's tough right now, but 2 games in isn't enough time to change the program. In 2 years if we don't notice the improved direction, then I might be concerned, but I have to give Coach Bell ample opportunity to right the ship. Recruit, recruit, recruit, and demand excel...

Re: 2019-20 season

Didn't Sr. play with some sort of foot or leg injury in his time at UMass as well? Kid was tough, played with a ton of heart.

Re: State of the Progam

Guys I have moved on from this train wreck. I went to UM in the mid 200'0's when we used to get pissed off about missing the playoffs, where being a national finalist against App State was not acceptable. This program has pissed me off so much that for the first time BC football will air in my hous...

Re: 2019-20 season

One thing everyone always loved about Cal, aside from his work ethic and success, was he always looked like he was having fun and enjoying it. That relates a ton to fans and student body. After all, it is college sports, and is supposed to be a fun outlet for people. Glad to see Coach McCall engaged...

Exceptionally well written column.

Great story about Randall and his dad & family. Couldn't be pulling for this kid any more to have a great season
