I don't care if we play on a pond, as long as I can see it.
I heard back in the late 70's, early 80's before they discontinued hockey, they sometimes practiced on the campus pond 'cause we had no rink. Anyone verify that?

Re: Makar in NHL

Nice Hockey Writers article today touting Cale as "the most untouchable prospect in the entire Colorado organization". Pretty nice sentiment right there.
We were extremely lucky to have had him at UMass

Re: KAEO: Preston Santos

This really blows if he leaves the team. Like 69 said, Preston was also one of my favorites last year. Great freakin kid with a fantastic attitude and skills that fill a lot of needs. Hate seeing kids like this leave the program, so I hope all is ok and he returns at some point. His versatility and ...

Re: Veterans Day

If I may, I'll add my father to the list as well. Served in the Navy in Korea. Like 69, I lost my father young when I was 13, and coincidentally on Nov 11. I have tons of respect for all those who served for our country and think its very important that we thank and remember all those who have served.

Good little story about Cale's possible next contract on Mile High Sports. Kid should really make some big coin. Great for him and his family. Love seeing it

Enjoyed looking back....had a name come to my mind before I started and wondered why they didn’t appear many times on peoples’ lists......checked his stats and found a very interesting pattern.....his best stat line was his freshman year.....played 111 games over his career, which was probably all ...

Re: All-time starting five

I think to really pay respect to players of different eras you'd need to have 2 separate sets of "best of" teams. Lots of us never saw the older teams which makes it tough to choose, except for the obvious DrJ, Skinner, etc. I like Not Trigger's choices of "teams" vs best players...

Even if he can't play due to injuries, I wish they could bring back Buggs. His positivity is infectious and everyone seems to like the kid. Always a Minuteman in my mind

I agree, can't have a shot if you don't make the offer. Might be a connection somewhere in there
