Re: 2019 Recruiting

At this point, unless we can land an impact freshman, I'd rather take a grad transfer & juco who can help us for a year or two while the young kids develop, and then have a few more spots to fill later and balance off the roster. Building the culture priority 1 Love the attitude TJ, Santos, and Bugg...

Re: 2019 Recruiting

What do we have, 2 spots to fill? Seems like its getting to be a little late to be finding guys that want to be at UMass. Hope something breaks in our favor soon

Trivia Between Avalanche Games

How many sports has UM Men participated in the NCAA Final Four for that sport. I’ll give you Football, Basketball (I was there, IT COUNTS), Ice Hockey, for three (3). Name the others.

Re: Vote for Cale for the Hobey Baker

Went to bed and flipped on the game and saw Cale's first goal. The crowd was really behind him as were his teammates. Showed his parents and while his dad was taking pics, his mom was just looking around and mouthing "oh my god". What a week for the Makars, gotta love it!

Re: 2019 Recruiting

I like Keon. He's got a toughness and aggressiveness that I think is perfect for the younger guys to see. Looks like a kid that just wants to win. Plus I'm sure he'll develop even more the next 2 years because he looks like a pretty hard worker

Re: NCAA Tournament 2019

Great season and couldn’t be more proud; The better team won the final game of the season. Our guys will now be remembered as one of the best teams to represent the University in any sport. Agree. UMD played a great game, and I wonder if the team was a little out of gas from the OT win on Thursday....

Re: 2019 Recruiting

I'm guessing some of the freshman would be redshirting as well to balance things out a bit. No way everyone will get minutes

Re: State of the program

Is that like all adults were once children? Seriously tho, I think there are those that have followed for years because it was common for students to go to games as a social thing, and have remained so out of habit. Today there are more options for younger people, and if the teams aren't doin...

Re: State of the program

The only tough part of that is that losing can bring some negativity to both the fanbase and players. Nobody likes losing. Usually when you do, something didn't go well or you didn't play well. So hopefully that culture and mindset is strong and keep guys pushing forward. The diehards will continue ...
