Re: Game 27, 2021-22: VCU (2/26)
It has been forever since I have posted on here, but Floyd and LS just summed up my feelings right now. I used to plan my entire Winter around UMass hoop. A VCU game would have been planned around for months. Today I was given free tickets by 5 College Movers and still couldnt make time to go. Chang...

Re: Pat Kelsey
So in the aftermath of PK leaving us at the altar I heard several rumours from several different places. I then had someone come to me with something that seemed to make a lot of sense. The person who told me is not someone who I usually get inside information from, but it is someone who I trust imp...

Re: 2020 Recruiting
I saw Fernandes play at Woodstock before I actually knew who he was and only Preston had committed to us. I thought Fernandes was the best player on the court and it really wasnt even close. After I found out who he was and learned that we had been one of his top choices, I was very upset that we mi...

Re: Who will not be back next year?
I have no idea the chances Fernandez ends up here...I would guess there is virtually no chance, but if he does I would be ecstatic! That kid is GOOD!

Re: Game 19 - St. Bonaventure 1/23/19
I understand that recruiting is the lifeblood of a college sports program, but is anyone else a bit put off by a head coach talking about getting on a plane to go recruiting the day after a 15 point home loss to a bad team?? Why not stay on campus and work with your current team?

Re: Fan in Need
I want to bump this thread to the top a bit. Glenn's son is really becoming active in hoping for some help in finding a donor. Can you all please share this if possible? And if possible, can you please help out a fellow fan and season ticket holder?

Re: Game 13 - 2018-19 - Georgia 12/30/18
Thanks for the clarification Floyd. You may be right. I tend to think MM is playing too many guys and the guys are unclear on their general role when they go into the game. I feel like I see a team that is selfish (not nessecarily their fault by the way) and tentative at the same time if that makes ...

Re: Game 13 - 2018-19 - Georgia 12/30/18
Floyd, with all due respect, these are kids who have worked their entire lives to earn a D1 scholarship and potentially play in the pros. If they don't want to be coached then they shouldn't play D1 ball. Matt McCall NEEDS to be all in all the time because if he doesn't win he will get fired. I unde...

Re: Game 10, 2018-2019 Providence 12/7/18
I was at the game Friday and it was a fun one to be at. I rewatched it last night and still couldn't believe the comeback. The one key possession of the game, in my opinion, was the possession right after the under 4 media timeout. UMass came down and ran almost a full shot clock, moving the ball we...

Re: KAEO: Preston Santos
Just got back from the Woodstock game. Woodstock won a very close game. I don't claim to be a scout but I'll give you my impressions of PS. Preston is a very good athlete who is long and lean and quick. He has a very good nose for the ball when getting into the passing lanes and going for rebounds. ...

Re: KAEO: Preston Santos
It looks like Preston's Woodstock is playing in Northfield, MA tomorrow night vs Redemption Christian Academy. I think I might try to get to the game. I double and triple checked to make sure it was the Gold Team coming up and it looks like it is.

Screw that! Your team is BEGGING for fan support, do what you want. Pretty soon those who sit will be in the minority. Keep standing and keep cheering. If you have issues tell the marketing staff and they will help you out.
